Victor Eugene Casey Sr., 94, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Sunday morning, April 10, 2016 at the Ohio Veteran's Home after a battle with Alzheimer's.

Victor was born on September 25, 1921 in Raven, VA to the late Al and Cora (Phillips) Casey.

Victor was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force who proudly served his country during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He was a retired minister of the Pentecostal Church of God for 68 years, and retired from ABF Truck Lines after many years of service. Victor lived in Venice, FL for 20 years where he was a member of American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking walks, bowling, attending annual reunions with his army buddies, and spending time with his family.

Victor is survived by his daughter, Connie C. (Timothy) Morsher of Norwalk, OH; sons, Victor E. (Carol) Casey Jr. of Parma Heights, OH and Jerry E. (Barbara) Casey of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Travis Casey, Cherish (Matt) Thresher, Amy (Jim) Julien, Kristie Morsher, Amanda (Andy) Hewitt, Lauren (Dave) Cook and Shaun Casey; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Victor is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Mullins) Casey in 2014; daughter, Judy A. Casey; son, Timothy L. Casey; sisters, Niada Goodman, Vivian Greggorevich, Georgia Simmons Ridgeway, Beaulah Cordill, Bertha Short and Myrtle Mallory; and brothers, Glenn, Arvil and Basil Casey.

Friends may call on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Singleton Funeral Service, 1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Singleton Funeral Service with burial following in Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia.
